Design a VR soft skill training tool for healthcare professionals
A study by PricewaterhouseCoopers (2022) states that in 2035 there will be a shortage of 1.8 million people in the German healthcare system. This will place very high demands on the medical staff, as they will have to be very flexible to train and retrain depending on the needs of clients and patients, as well as depending on the ongoing digitization. In addition to professional knowledge, it will primarily be a matter of willingness to learn new things. This will be very difficult without the necessary soft skills, such as effective communication, resistance to stress, conflict resolution, self-reflection, creativity, teamwork, etc.
The challenge: Design an effective tool for VR soft skills training so that healthcare professionals are prepared and motivated to make changes in their future work.
